Judy finished the Vancouver Career College Registered Massage Therapy Program in 2019. She is passionate about using her skills to help people improve their quality of life. She has experience in treating patients with muscular imbalance, MVA injuries, sports related injuries, pre and postnatal muscular discomfort, insomnia, tension, and stress.
Techniques often used by Judy include but not limited to: General Swedish, Trigger Point Release, Joint Mobilization, IASTM, Postural Training, Homecare exercises and stretches.
Time for assessments, history taking, homecare suggestions, questions, and billing are included in your treatment time.
Judy’s uses non-scented massage lotion and non-scented massage oil in her treatments. Judy does not practice Aromatherapy, but she does use a massage oil that contains essential oils in her treatments when requested at no additional cost. If you are sensitive to scents, please book the first appointment of the day to avoid being scheduled after a scented oil treatment because the smell does linger in the room for a while.
Cancellations within 24 hours may be subjected to a cancellation fee of the full cost of your treatment paid out of pocket. This fee cannot be charged to insurance companies. If there is an emergency or if you are sick, this fee is waived.
Judy is not taking any WorkSafe BC cases at the moment. Please make sure you do not have an open WorkSafe case prior to your treatment. If you wish to have the RMT treatment that is unrelated to your WorkSafe injury, you may let Judy know and she can possibly treat you.
If you have any RMT related questions, please email Judy at judyhurmt@gmail.com
